Timmy No Brakes Pittsburgh reviews
Madonna doesn't care
At about 8:30 p.m., DJMaryMac started playing random songs on her turntable, and kept going for an hour. Tickets were for 8:00 p.m., with no opening act listed. She never explained herself and she never apologized. We waited 2 and a half hours without ever being told when she might start. Nope. It was not until 10:30 p.m. that Timmy No Brakes's show started. There was never any explanation. Madonna would finally come out. She expected everyone just to start cheering for her because, as she said, she "is the Queen." She initially thought she was in Tulsa. She admitted to misspeaking lyrics and missed choreography. While some have reported thinking she was intoxicated (her interactions with the crowd were bizarre), I did not think that - I thought she just didn't care about her performance or the people who'd paid good money to see her and patiently waited for over two hours for her to grace us with her presence. If you paid attention to her and not her dancers and the fancy lights and props, you saw a woman who should have cancelled the show and refunded our money. There are so many performers (even "classic acts") that bust their butts to put on a good performance while Madonna just phones it in when she does finally show up.
